Set up your earbuds
Charge and pair
Charge the earbuds and case using the included magnetic USB-C cable. The case fully charges in about 2 hours, earbuds in about 1.5 hours.
To pair, open the case and press the button on the case. The earbuds will enter pairing mode. Download the TicNote app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect via Bluetooth.
Record calls and meetings
TicNote Pods Wi-Fi features dual-mode recording to adapt to your environment.
Earbud Mode (for calls): Wear the earbuds and answer a call. Both sides are recorded and transcribed automatically. The dual-mic system with ENC noise cancellation captures your voice clearly even in noisy environments.
Case Mode (for meetings): Place the charging case on the table and close the lid. The built-in mics pick up the whole room, capturing voices clearly from up to 10 meters away.
During recording, use a short press on the earbud panel to drop a highlight. This marks the exact timestamp and signals the AI to focus on what matters most in your final summary.

Take notes and photos while recording
You don't have to just sit back and listen. While recording, you can stay engaged and capture context in real time.
Take notes
Open the TicNote app during a recording and type notes directly. Your notes sync to the transcript timeline, so you can jump back to exactly what was being said when you wrote something down.
Snap photos
See a whiteboard sketch, a slide deck, or a document? Take a photo in the app. The AI analyzes the image and includes that visual data in your final summary — no need to describe it in words.

Get transcripts and summaries
Once your conversation is over, open the TicNote app. If the case is connected to Wi-Fi, your recordings upload automatically. Otherwise, they sync via Bluetooth when your phone is nearby.
The AI generates a full transcript with automatic speaker identification. You can read, search and reference exactly what was said.
For summaries, choose from 100+ templates or create your own. Apply different templates to the same recording — generate a meeting summary for your team and a detailed action list for yourself at the same time.
You can also add visual context. If someone draws on a whiteboard or references a slide deck, snap a photo in the app. The AI analyzes the image and includes that visual data in your final summary.
Use AI to find answers and create deliverables
Ask AI
Query a single recording or search across all your past files. The AI gives you reference-based answers with clickable timestamps.
Automatic Transcript
Enable Automatic Transcript in the app settings. After each recording ends, the system automatically generates a transcript, summary, and mindmap — no manual steps needed.
TicNote Cloud
Your recordings sync automatically to TicNote Cloud, the web-based workspace. From any browser, you can search across all your meeting content, generate visual reports, and use built-in Skills to complete work tasks.
In TicNote Cloud, you can use TicNote Connect to share and edit TicNote data in other tools: connect AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude to read and edit your recordings and summaries; bring your own AI model with API keys from Anthropic, DeepSeek, or Qwen to TicNote Cloud; export transcripts and summaries to various formats like DOCX, PDF, MD, etc., or directly to Notion and Obsidian.
Translation
Use Listen Translation to place the case near a speaker and read the translation on your phone screen. Or use Conversation Translation to wear the earbuds yourself while the other person reads your phone screen.
Pro tips
Maximizing battery life
The earbuds last about 5 hours per charge. The case provides about 22 hours of recording with Wi-Fi off, or about 13 hours with Wi-Fi on. For all-day use, keep Wi-Fi off unless you need automatic upload.
Using offline mode
If you're in an area with no Wi-Fi, the earbuds can still record offline. The 32GB case storage holds about 2,150 hours of audio. Sync everything when you're back in coverage.
Custom vocabulary
Add industry-specific jargon in the app settings so the AI captures your terminology accurately. This is especially useful for technical discussions or medical consultations.
Privacy and compliance
Recording laws vary by location and situation. Always get consent when recording another person, especially in business meetings.
Your transcripts and notes are encrypted. Wi-Fi upload uses secure protocols, and you can choose to keep files offline if needed.
